It all started back in 2010. A dream from a father and son team to start an HVAC company that actually did what they said, and a company that put their customers FIRST! Meet Mike and Denver Baker. Originally hailing out of Kalamazoo, MI both Mike and Denver moved north to start their HVAC dream together between 2009 and 2010. Mike coming north in 2009, and Denver coming north in 2010. Since our inception back in 2010, MD Heat has been providing fast, honest, and friendly services to their customers. Mike has since retired from MD Heat back in the late 2010s, but Denver has carried on the customer driven focus the company was founded on. We can only hope to gain you as a customer too!
Denver Baker
Denver has been in the heating and cooling industry since the age of 13. Starting out working in the insulation department of his father's heating and cooling business in Kalamazoo, he has expanded his knowledge of HVAC systems extensively. As Mike always says, "Denver has far surpassed my heating and cooling skills and knowledge, I can't keep up with him anymore." Fast forward from Denver starting at 13 to now, Denver is a state licensed Master Mechanical Contractor with the desire to build and expand on the foundation started by his father Mike. Denver specializes in everything from high end forced air and hydronic systems, to standard workhorse heating and cooling equipment.

Our Service Area
MD Heat has a fleet of trucks to get to you, when you need us! Our shop is in Kalkaska, but we serve up to 35 miles from our shop. We serve Antrim, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, norther Missaukee, northern Wexford, western Crawford and southern Charlevoix counties.
